The Fox, formerly The Terminus Hotel, was originally constructed in the late 1800’s and then extensively rebuilt following fire in the 1920’s. The hotel has a lively history being one of the first hotels built in Brisbane, and has at various stages been an accommodation venue, a watering hotel for thirsty dock workers and a backpackers hostel.
The Fox is on the move again and some might say she is about to embark on the most glorious period in her history. A full renovation has been undertaken with an art deco theme being carried throughout the venue. This was the era of Al Capone and the Gentleman Gangster, Moulin Rouge and the Can Can. The hotel reflects the architecture of this period, from the magnificent marble bars to alabaster mood lighting and spectacular lead crystal chandeliers.

The room opens onto the Hope St. Boulevard where outdoor tables cater for those wishing to make the most of the balmy sub-tropical Brisbane lifestyle.
Travel by lift or negotiate the grand staircase to the 1st level where you will find private function rooms, all decorated with period chaise and chesterfield lounges, opulent drapes and in-room catering providing facilities for 10 to 200 guests.
