The Fox Privacy Statement

The Fox Hotel (The Fox) respects each individual’s right to personal privacy. We will collect and use information through our Web site only in the ways disclosed in this statement. This statement applies solely to information collected at The Fox’s Web site.

Part I. Information Collection

The Fox collects information through our Web site at several points. We collect the following information about primary visitors:

We may also collect information which our users divulge about other people, such as details on a Business Card etc. The Fox does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information.

We do not collect data that is personally identifiable information unless provided by the user. We collect demographic data (as provided by your browser in order to better understand the platforms and software used to visit and display our site. None of this information is personally identifiable.

We collect this information through email submission such as registration forms, click-stream tracking, and website statistic cookies. The information is collected voluntarily with the exception of cookies, however turning off of cookies will prevent the collection of this data. To receive our products and services, no information is mandatory.

We do employ cookies. A cookie is a small text file that our Web server places on a user’s computer hard drive to be a unique identifier. Cookies enable The Fox to track usage patterns and identify browser type and versions. Our cookies do not have an expiration date. Our cookies do not collect personally identifiable information.

Banner advertising is not used throughout our Web site. Third parties may infect your computer to display banner advertising and collect information at our Web site.

Part II. Information Usage.

The information collected by The Fox will be used for marketing and information distribution directly related to The Fox. Users who provide information will receive email announcements or postal information.

Registered users will receive announcements from us about products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications through an un-subscribe process detailed at the bottom of all emails.

The information we collect will be used to create customer profiles and databases. We will not supplement information collected at our Web site with data from other sources such as credit history to authorize purchases.

We do not share data with the third parties with the exception of The Fox's sister venues and businesses. These third parties will use the information in the same manner and with the same guidelines as The Fox. Users may opt out of information shared with third parties.

We offer links to other Web sites. Please note: When you click on links to other Web sites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies. Their standards may differ from ours.

If our policy on information collection or uses changes, will advise you by email via your recorded email address.

Part III. Access to Information

The Fox maintains the accuracy of our information by regular use. Any email address that returns an error is removed along with any further contact information. Users may not access their own personal information, however they contact us about inaccuracies they may find.

Part IV. Problem Resolution

If problems arise, users may contact The Fox by telephone or via email. We are committed to resolving disputes within 7 (seven) days.

Part V. Data Storage and Security

The Fox protects user information by maintaining an offsite database that is not physically or electronically linked to any internet or intranet systems used by The Fox. All emails are sent via a completely isolated networked secured behind a firewall. That network is only powered during transmission times and for periodical updates of subscription information.
